PAINTING SCULPTURE MIXED MEDIA RESIN-ART

Born in Innsbruck / Austria 1961, currently resident in Munich Germany

The artist’s current body of work consists of painting, mixed media, and sculpture as equally important forms of expression, emerging from conceptual and contemplative themes. The works feature organically inspired wooden forms and wall pieces composed of spontaneously assembled wooden segments, often sealed and unified through layers of epoxy resin.

artist statement

Since 1985, visual art has been a vocation and the central driving force of my life. Although I pursued additional professions over the past decades, which limited the number of works created until 2022, my artistic vision and inner development continued to grow steadily throughout this time.

In the summer of 2022, I began dedicating myself fully to my artistic practice. This shift has allowed me to explore my creative potential without restraint, resulting in a series of powerful and expressive new works created over recent months.

With my ongoing series BALANCE, I seek to reflect on the delicate equilibrium required in our lives. Especially in these challenging times, we are all called upon to navigate a constant balancing act—between stability and change, control and surrender, inner and outer worlds.
